I haven’t been one to do much with my personal site in the past. I think for years it’s simply been an out dated portfolio. I want to use this site to push myself to share more of my experiences both professionally and personally.
In 2018, I decided to leave my corporate sales job and learn to code. I was introduced into WordPress the next year when I landed my first job at a web development agency.
Since then, I have been working in the WordPress agency space building custom WordPress sites, typically using classic editor and leveraging the ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) plugin.
Lately, I’ve been trying to dive deeper into the Block Editor and Gutenberg, as it seems it has made much improvement over the years. This site is heavily inspired by both Nick Diego and Rich Tabor sites and have been some of the main resources while learning about creating sites this way. I look to testing out the block editor on more complex sites and documenting my process throughout.
