Developer Summary

Junior Web Developer with one plus years’ experience focused mainly in JavaScript and creating responsive web applications. I enjoy being challenged by, and engaging with, projects that require me to work outside my comfort zone and knowledge set; continuing to learn new languages and development techniques are important to me. I am very comfortable working in a team environment but am more than capable of accomplishing tasks on my own.

Interests

I love learning about new technologies and finding different ways of accomplishing similar problems. Currently I have been trying to further my React and WordPress theme development skills through Udemy courses, YouTube courses and side projects.

I was fortunate enough to obtain an athletic scholarship to play lacrosse in college at the University of Vermont. I have played lacrosse since I was about 10 years old and I’ve been fortunate enough to be the Coach of the Ahwatukee middle school boys lacrosse team the last 5 years. I enjoy giving back to my community in this way by teaching the skills I learned to play the sport at the next level as well as being a positive role model for these student athletes.

I am also a HUGE fan of YouTube. These days I feel like a watch content on there more than a do cable TV or Netflix. Some of my favorite channels include Binging with Babish, Hot Ones w/ Sean Evens, and Mark Rober.

Brew-Bot

"Brewbot is an app to help find your favorite beers and save them in the app. You can also search current articles and keep up to date with the beer brewing world. Beers have ABV listings and some have descriptions as well."
